Majoni fender inflation adaptors are ingeniously crafted in two parts to connect a car foot pump or bicycle pump securely to any Majoni Fender Inflation Valve via a reliable male/female thread.
Features of Majoni Fenders:
- Unique Brass Valve: Majoni fenders feature a specially designed brass valve that facilitates easy inflation, deflation, and reinflation.
- Optimal Inflation Method: For best results, Majoni recommends inflating their fenders by pushing air pressure from a compressor with a flat head against the valve.
- Alternative Inflation: It is also possible to inflate the fenders using a bicycle or foot pump with the unique brass adaptor.
- Warning: Do not use a needle type adaptor, as it will damage the valve.
Recommended Inflation and Maintenance:
- Optimum Inflation Pressure: 0.2 bar. At this pressure, you should be able to visibly press in the fender wall with the flat of your hand.
- Temperature Consideration: The internal pressure of the fenders will fluctuate with ambient temperature changes, so it is essential to regularly check the inflation.
Deflating a Majoni Fender:
To deflate a Majoni fender, gently push a pen or biro the minimum distance into the valve to release the air.
Replacing a Damaged Majoni Valve:
- Screw an M3 threaded bolt or machine screw into the valve.
- Firmly grip the bolt head with a pair of pliers and pull the valve out of the fender wall.
- Insert the new valve into the hole in the fender wall using the same method, applying hand pressure with the bolt and pliers.
