Product Description
Kingbraid has a 3 strand twisted Polyester core and 32 plait HT Polyester cover. It is lower stretch, stronger and harder wearing than standard Polyester braid on braid. It is ideal for halyards, sheets, control lines and most on-board applications.
Please note that prices are per metre. For example, if you order a quantity of 6 then a 6 metre length of rope will be cut and dispatched.

6mm: 930kg

Applications:
Halyards - A halyard is used to hoist a sail. Ropes used for halyards are normally very low stretch to keep the sail raised and taut.
Sheets - Sheets are a line used to control the movable clews of a sail.
Material:
Polyester - Polyester has a specific gravity of 1.38 which means it will not float. Polyester has no strength loss when wet, it is flexible and has good abrasion resistance. Polyester fibres also have good resistance to chemicals and have a melting point of 295°C.
