Floatline is single 8 plait braided multi-filament Polypropylene rope with no core. This rope is made in bright colours for high visibility, floats and is an ideal safety rope.

Please note that prices are per metre. For example, if you order a quantity of 6 then a 6 metre length of rope will be cut and dispatched.

Breaking Strains:

6mm: 550kg
8mm: 870kg
10mm: 1,300kg

Applications:

General Purpose - General purpose ropes can be used for many different applications on board. The useful ropes are great to have as spares in case of an emergency.

It is produced via chain-growth polymerization from the monomer propylene. Polypropylene has a melting point of 160 °C and the fibre floats. Various forms of Polypropylene yarns are used to produce ropes such as Split film, Yarn construction, multifilament, and monofilament each type produces a rope with different properties and uses.
